Does anybody know how much it cost to add or change your real name. I heard its like $500 but i'm not sure please help.How much does name change cost?No, its not $500 - this is something you can do on your own.. you do NOT need a lawyer ( I know - because I changed my sons last name ) -----

go up to your local courthouse(clerk of course i think - otherwise - they can guide you where to go)

get a %26quot;change of name%26quot; form - fill that out - and the judge has to okay it.

price - under $100.00 -

easy to do - not as expensive as you thought!
