How much does it cost to change the driver's side of a car?

i want a car from europe in usa and the driver's seat is on the right side. it's supposed to be on the left side, so i have to switch it. how much would it cost to ship it to the usa and to change it? it's a very small car, the nissan micra, comparable to the mini cooper. How much does it cost to change the driver's side of a car? There is no law stating which side the seat must be on. It is totally legal to drive a right handed car on left hand lanes in the US. Where you will run into problems is getting it licensed once you ship it home. Safety regulations differ greatly from Europe and the US and most likely would not meet many requirements to be licensed in the US. (although I'm sure that it is just as safe or safer than an equivalent made here)How much does it cost to change the driver's side of a car?not worth the trouble.Steering box ,shaft ,new pedals and mounting ,new brake lines not worth it.How much does it cost to change the driver's side of a car?More than it would be worth to do. You're better off money wise buying one built for the USA if they have one here. How much does it cost to change the driver's side of a car?I agree: switching a right-hand drive to left-hand drive is going to be expensive! it's not just the steering, dashboard, controls, etc, but also headlights and many other parts that would need to be changed... the Versa's coming out in a few months. Wait for that.
