How much does it cost to change a vinyl lined pool to gunite?

I have a 16'X36' oval pool that is 8' deep at it's deepest end. I was wondering a ballpark cost of changing it from a liner pool to gunite. Also, is it possible to fill in the deep end to make the whole pool 4' deep?
