I've been wanting to change my name to Maygen for a few months now,but I don't know how to do it or how much it costs.I'm a minor,so I know it would be cheaper.I live in Florida,and so far I've found that it costs $40.The only problem is,I'm not sure if its right and if it is,I don't know how to do it after I get the money.Can someone please help?How Much Does It Cost To Change Your Name?The state and county/city you live in is the only place you can change your name. If their price is too much you either have to not change your name or move. You may also be able to petition that the price be lowered. Just go to the local courthouse and they can give you all the information and paperwork.
